Explore Our Soil Regeneration Services
At Good Life Soil, we are passionate about nurturing the essence of life hidden beneath our feet. It all starts with soil. A living, breathing ecosystem teeming with vitality and microbial wonders waiting to be discovered.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to cultivate soil regeneration by fostering the well-being and diversity of every microbial life form within. In a world with over 1.5 million species, our dedication to soil health is what sets us apart and propels us towards a future where life flourishes.
Soil Health Report and Regenerative Coaching
We partner with our growers and ranchers to develop a plan based on their objectives. We walk the walk with you starting where you are. You are the expert of your own land and we are there to help you reach your goals, both personal and financial. Before we start doing “stuff”, we build a better understanding of why you are a producer and why it’s attractive to you.
We start with understanding your experiences, successes, challenges and goals.
What are your desired outcomes and aspirations?
What has worked and not worked?
What do like about what you do?
What’s in the way?
What is your timing?
What are your financial needs?
Next, we focus on 3 methods to gather information, Physical, Mineralogical, and Biological.
We do a full onsite assessment. This includes observations of landscape, terrain, soil conditions, vegetation (weeds) and crop conditions, water sourcing, plant diversity, air flow, wind protection, sunlight access, surrounding properties, and plot layout.
We analyze the soil, texture, color, smell, (even taste), organic matter, structure, root depth, water infiltration, minerals and microbiology. We analyze the plants and vegetation for mineral absorption and how well the they are photosynthesizing.
To complete the report, we develop a plan that takes you from where you are to where you want to go. The plan is set to be actionable, iterative, and realistic. We will use the results of our observations and testing to establish a clear road map of actions, milestones, and measurable outcomes. We set up testing schedules, treatment plans, planting strategies (cash and cover crops), plan adjustments, all with timelines, milestones and financial analysis (ROI).
Finally, you may take the report and implement all or parts on your own, or we offer our coaching services that provide you with the support to walk the walk with you on implementing, measuring, and adjusting based on the results.

Soil Analysis and Microscopy
Using the soil samples collected on site or mailed to us, we will identify the microorganisms in your soil or compost. Learn what is missing and needed for your crops and plants for sustainable living.
Microscopy
We will be identifying if the soil has the necessary microorganisms to begin the regenerative process:
Bacteria Biomass
Fugal Biomass
Fungal to Bacteria Ratio F:B
Protozoa Count
Nematode Count
Pathogens
Determine Succession Status
Other Test
We can facilitate other test that provide a broader understanding of the soil condition and aid in developing a holistic treatment plan. These test include key measurements for pH, Minerals, Fatty Acids, Chemicals (NPK), CEC, Organic Matter, etc.:
Haney Test
PLFA Analysis
Traditional Soil Analysis
Create Living Compost
Create living compost through the thermophilic method using materials on your own property. Learn to identify the 3 main ingredients, nitrogen, green and woody material, available in your area to create living compost.
Once the composting cycle is complete, typically 30 days, we will let it rest and continuously obverse the microorganism growth. The longer it ages and is fed, the more microbial activity there is. Based on your crop succession stage, we can determine when it’s ready for application.
From the compost we can create extracts and teas that expand your treatment plans and your compost supply. Using a combination of direct compost application to soil, liquid extracts to immerse directly into the rhizosphere and sprayed on foliage and liquid teas that can be sprayed on foliage to boost plant resistance to pest and diseases.
If you have the necessary equipment, brewer and sprayer, we can make the extracts and teas on site with immediate application. Or we can do them at our facility as well as perform the application.
